News         Over the past year and half Smithfield Friends Church has gone through many different changes and we thank you for your prayers.          Today Smithfield Friends Church has a new pastor his name is Pastor John Powell.  He comes to us with much knowledge of the Bible and a real heart for Jesus and his people. John  is working very hard to reach out to our community and heal the hurt.        Sunday School is a big thing here at Smithfield Friends Church. Upcoming Events      The first Monday of every Month Smithfield Friends holds a Food Pantry.  We are very proud of our Food Pantry we not only serve our Church Family we also serve many other families in surrounding areas.     Pastor John Powell's Birthday is coming up!! We are planning a get together after church first Sunday in February..  Which is February 3, 2002 please join us as we share in the celebration there will be cake, ice cream, and a little bite to eat..     Coming soon to Smithfield Friends Church!!!  We will be offering an Aerobics Class held here at the church on Monday & Wednesday Evenings starting in February..  Come and get Exercised physically and spiritually!! Come and Soak up the WORD!!!   The Church is in need of a complete cleaning. If you are willing to help please stop by in the foyer and there will be a list that needs completed on the bulletin board. Or contact the Church Office.   Congregational Meeting is postponed from Sunday February 3 to Sunday February 10th please make a note of this!!
